How do I claim my Official Artist Channel on YouTube?

Official Artist Channels, or “OAC”, have the advantage of merging all your content on YouTube into a single verified channel, granting it official status and the associated “♪” symbol. Within an Official Artist Channel, your catalog is organized into the following categories: video clips, albums & singles.

To qualify for an OAC, your channel must meet the following requirements:

  1. The channel must be owned and operated by an artist or band.
  2. The channel must have at least 3 official releases on YouTube, delivered and distributed by OFFstep.
  3. The channel’s name must match the primary artist’s name, including capital letters, accents, and special characters.
  4. The channel must have no policy violations.

If your channel meets these requirements, please access your OFFstep account and go to the OAC Page to submit your request.

Attention: Your request can only be submitted if the aforementioned requirements are met. You’ll be notified via e-mail as soon as the channel is approved by YouTube’s team. Please keep in mind that all submissions are analyzed by YouTube’s team and can take up to a month.
