I want to grant a third party access to my account. How can I do this?
Go to manage users and click the “grant user access” button.
Insert the email address of the person you’d like to have access to your account.
Select the permission level you want the user to have. These are the access levels and tools available with each type of permission:
- Administrator (Full Access) – if you grant administrator access to a third party, that person will have full access to your account, including withdrawing money.
- Account Settings: The user will have access to:
- Manage user access to the account
- Add social media links
- Submit requests to join the YouTube Network
- Access “my backups” menu
- Content Management: The user will be able to:
- Register albums and videos
- Manage the whole catalog
- Financials: The user will have access to
- Monthly analytics & accounting
- View the total gross
- View the revenue
- Marketing: The user will be able to
- Access and use all the marketing tools, such promo art, pre-save, etc.
- Withdraw and Royalty Shares:
- Manage royalty shares
- Request withdrawal
Once you’ve selected permissions, click “grant access.” An email with the invitation will be sent to the user.
Please keep in mind that if the person in question already has an OFFstep account, the access will be automatically granted. However, if this is a new user, a new account will have to be created and the invite status will show up as “pending.” The email used in account creation must be the same that received the invite.
Note: The user that received access to your account, depending on the permissions you granted, will only be able to change and/or manage the permissions of the users of the account, not primary artists on the albums.
