I can’t request access to my S4A (Spotify For Artists)

There are several reasons why you may not be able to request access to Spotify for Artists through your OFFstep account:

  1. Your albums are not distributed yet. You must have at least one album released, approved, and distributed through OFFstep in order to have access to that tool;
  2. The artist you’re trying to claim is not the Primary Artist of the albums. Only primary artists from your albums can be connected and verified;
  3. You’re trying to claim artist profiles through a Label account. That tool is exclusive for artist accounts. If your account is a label account, you must claim the artist’s profile directly from Spotify;
  4. This tool is only available for claiming new profiles. If you already have access to your profile, you’ll see an error message. In that case, just go directly to the Spotify for Artists website or app.
  5. And finally, the most common case, the artist’s name on the albums registered on your OFFstep account are not the same as the Spotify profile. The name on your OFFstep account must be exactly the same as the artist profile on Spotify, including capitalization and spaces. If your name is ‘Maria B’ on OFFstep and ‘MariaB’ on the Spotify profile, then you won’t be able to access your S4A.

If, after checking the aforementioned information, you’re still unable to claim your artist profile, please feel free to contact our Support team for assistance.
