I can’t request access to my Spotify For Artists (S4A)

There are several reasons why you may not be able to request access to Spotify for Artists through your OFFstep account:

  1. Your albums are not distributed yet. You must have at least one approved and distributed release via OFFstep to use this feature;
  2. The artist you are trying to claim is not the Primary Artist on your releases. Only the primary artist can be connected and verified;
  3. You already have access to Spotify for Artists. This tool is only available for first-time verification. If you already have access to your profile, you may see an error message. In this case, please log in directly via the Spotify for Artists website or apps (iOS and Android);
  4. The artist name does not match your Spotify profile. The artist name on your releases and your OFFstep account name must exactly match your Spotify artist profile (including capitalization and spacing). Both conditions must be met. For example, if your name is ‘Maria B’ on OFFstep and ‘MariaB’ on Spotify, you will not be able to access S4A.

If you have checked all of the above and still cannot access S4A, please contact our Support team for assistance.
