Can I distribute songs that are in the public domain?

You can distribute songs that are in the public domain. Keep in mind that you’ll have to register the names of the original composers correctly. If you don’t know the name of the composers of these songs, you can use “Public Domain” as the Songwriter.

Note: The song’s original songwriter needs to be genuinely lost to history to justify the “Public Domain” registration.
